Judy Schmidlapp, allied A.S.I.D.
Judy has been in the business of designing beautiful interiors for the past 24 years. She has owned several prominent design firms, the most recent one shared with her daughter Jessica, in Cincinnati Ohio. Their retail store and interior design studio, Celadon Home Ltd., brought tremendous press, and many high end residential clients. Their work has taken them from installations in Orange County, CA to beachside residences in Stone Harbor, NJ., and to the beautiful islands of the Caribbean. While at Celadon Home Ltd., Judy was involved in several charitable events including the Cincinnati Ballet Company Designer Show house and the Cincinnati Antiques Festival. While she favors no particular design “style” she takes great pleasure in giving clients the home of their dreams, whether that is English Country, French Provincial, or pure Beach.
Jessica Schmidlapp
Jessica followed her mother into the interior design business shortly after graduating from Denison University with a B.A. in 1992. She and her mother started a decorative window hardware company, which they sold several years later, but not before manufacturing pieces for interior designers nationally, including an installation for Jimmy Buffet. Jessica has worked for a trade showroom, as well as several other small interior design firms. She and her mother, Judy, co-owned Celadon Home Ltd., In Cincinnati Ohio. Jessica loves building relationships with clients and listens carefully to their wants and needs before helping them establish a blue print for their project. The scope of their work includes architectural details, overseeing construction and renovation, furniture selection, window treatments, wall covering, art, antiques and accessories. She favors comfortable interiors and personally loves design in the style of the British West Indies.
